The annual summer school will be hosted by the University of Basel. The local organizing committee (Martin Keller & Oliver Faude) will invite national and international experts who will talk and discuss about "Adaptations to resistance training from various perspectives: from theory to practice".
Date: 16./17. of June 2022
Target group: PhD students for the whole summer school; all members are invited to attend the keynotes that will also been streamed online.

- Christoph Handschin (Biozentrum Basel): skeletal muscle cell plasticity/molecular processes
- Martino Franchi (University of Padova, Italy): Structural adaptation in muscles and tendons
- Jesper Lundbye-Jensen (University of Copenhagen, Denmark): Neural adaptations
- Christoph Centner (University of Freiburg, Germany): Training with blood flow restriction
